女英看着小龙女和娥黄做饭，问娥黄：“你和牛郎唠了很长时间，他说我什么了没？”
娥黄回答：“他说他在长江上游的伐木场没赚到钱，这次他回来就会被鞭刑。他朋友告诉他的老家正有人在盖房子，让他到咱们这里面试，就帮他想出了今天他在咱们这里表演的这套。牛郎说，他一看见你，就知道打不过你，为表现他自己，就对你动手了。他还说，他也不知道是怎么回事，就表演成今天这样了。若是今天的面试又失败了，他明天就会接受鞭刑，就可能失去自由活动奴隶的地位。”

娥黄问小龙女：“你呢！你为什么说牛郎身高1.82米，体重85公斤，说得那么自信？”

Beauty-Yellow asked Little Dragon Girl: "Why did your mother and Nuwa let your father splash black dog blood on the head of the giant salamander (see Section 1.4 "Blood Splattered on the Cross")?"
Little Dragon Girl said: "They said, 'Gold Boy is timid and clumsy; they were testing my father's agility and courage!"
Heroine asked: "What was the result?"

小龙女说：“我怕真的像你说的似的，他来了就和女英打起来了。牛郎和我二伯是同一种人。这种人的力气可大了，我听我爸（即炎帝，玉皇大帝）说过几次了。他亲眼看见的，我二伯父三拳两脚就把我奶奶（即玉珠，九天玄女）的宠物老虎打死了（参见15.5.1.1.5 井阳之灾）。我怕他把女英给打伤喽！”
女英对娥黄说：“我早就听说过这事了。我们觉得 ‘我师父打虎‘肯定是真的；但其中有别的原因，我们没分析出来。你们俩出来，我举起那个石槽子给你们俩看。”
Beauty-Yellow said: “There's still a chance he won't come! Why did you wait for him to come and then leave?”
Little Dragon Girl said: “I'm afraid that it's really like what you said that he'll come and fight with Heroine. Cowboy and my second uncle are the same kind of person. This kind of person has a lot of strength, and I've heard from my dad (i.e., Yan White-King, Jade Emperor) talk about it a few times. Heroine says to Beauty-Yellow: “I've heard about this for a long time. We think 'My teacher-father beats the tiger' must be true; but there is something else in it, which we have not analyzed. Come out, you two, and I'll hold up that stone trough for you both to see.”
娥黄赶忙追了出来，说：“别举！看闪了腰！”
女英回答：“这石槽子约重150公斤，比我每天早晨举的那对儿石锁还轻10公斤呢！我不会闪腰，练武的人总闪腰还了得了！说着，她抓住石槽子，举过了头顶，在院子里走了一圈。然后说，‘现在我也能把这个石槽子扔到房顶上去。”
工地的人们看见这三个女人争吵着出来了，女英举着石槽子在院子里面走，立刻跑出来上百人围观。
娥黄着急地回答：“先别扔！先把石槽子放下！你得等我把锅里的饭淘出来后再扔。否则，锅被砸漏了，咱们今天晚上没饭吃！”
小龙女也阻止女英说：“你这脾气怎么这么大呢！快放下回屋吧！别人都在看，还以为咱仨在打架了呢！”
Beauty-Yellow rushed out after her and said, “Don't lift! You'll hurt your back!”
Heroine replied: “This stone Trough weighs about 150 kilograms, 10 kilograms lighter than the pair of stone locks I lift every morning! I will not flash my back, but it's not good for martial arts practitioners to flash their backs all the time! With that, she grabbed the stone trough, lifted it above her head, and walked around the yard. Then she said, 'Now, I can also throw this stone trough to the roof.”
People at the construction site saw the three women coming out arguing, and Heroine walking in the yard holding a stone trough. Immediately, hundreds of people came out to watch.

三人回到了厨房。娥黄气呼呼地对小龙女说：“我眼神好！那话我就不说！”
小龙女反驳道：“你的哪只眼睛比我好？”
娥黄回答：“你的法眼确实比我好！你看见牛郎就说是 ‘懂勇’。我听你说后，就观察他，怎么看也没看出来；直到刚才女英都证实了，我才相信。但我的肉眼比你好，我就看见了他们俩在槐荫树那儿抢这个石槽子，你就没看见！”
The three returned to the kitchen. Beauty-Yellow angrily said to Little Dragon Girl: "My heart-eyes are good! I won't say that!" 
Little Dragon Girl retorted: "Which of your eyes is better than mine?" 
Beauty-Yellow replied: "Your juristic eye is indeed better than mine! You said Cowboy is 'knowing bravery' when you saw him. After I heard you say that I observed him and couldn't see it no matter how hard I tried; until Heroine confirmed it just now, I believed it. But my flesh eyesight is better than yours, I saw the two of them fighting for the stone trough under the locust tree, but you didn't see it!"
小龙女惊讶地说：“肉眼也算数啊！？”
女英插嘴道：“当然算数了！做人讲究综合实力，有作用就算数。那慧眼，你们俩谁的好？”
娥黄回答：“慧眼，我们俩用《宝莲灯》中对慧眼的描述，已经比过两次了，水平相当，都不太好！”
女英听后，又不高兴了，说：“你们俩比过两次了，都没叫我！”
小龙女好奇地问女英：“你还懂慧眼，那你的慧眼是啥水平啊？”
Little Dragon Girl was surprised and said: "Does the flesh eye count?"
Heroine interrupted, "Of course it counts! Being a person requires comprehensive strength, and it counts if it is useful. As for gnostic eye, who has the better gnostic eye?"

女英进屋取来了《宝莲灯》，说：“我师母说了，‘炎帝（即玉皇大帝）的慧眼最好，天下第一！’ 我得好好研究研究，我师父（即二郎神）就是从这本书开悟的！这书不旧啊，谁这么讨厌，把书皮扯下去了？”
Heroine replied, “Yao White-King (i.e., Aocun, the Goddess of Wu Mountain) said that I could learn through all ‘Sun’zi Soldier Strategy’!”
Beauty-Yellow replied, “Ah! Then I won't compete with you.”
Little Dragon Girl replied: “Then I won't compare with her either. The book is right here in my room! The one without a book cover is the one! Read it yourself, why do you have to compare it?”
Heroine went into the room and fetched the ‘Treasury Lotus Lamp’, saying, “My teacher-mother (i.e., Yao White-King) said, ‘Yan White-King's (i.e., Third Wolf Zhang, the Jade Emperor) gnostic eye is the best under the sky!’ I must study it, my teacher-father (i.e. Second Wolf God, the Celestial Ceiling Marshal) was enlightened from this book! It's not an old book, who's so nasty as to rip the book cover down?”
娥黄严肃地纠正说：“首先说，炎帝不只是天下第一，他都快要成为玉皇大帝了，在天上也是第一！其次，《宝莲灯》的书皮是你让她扯下来，烧掉的。”
女英似有所悟地叨咕：“咱这地方跟别处不一样啊！我下次说话时要注意。其次，我什么时候让她扯《宝莲灯》了？你们冤枉我！”
Beauty-Yellow seriously corrected: “First of all, Yan White-King is not just the number one under the sky, he's on the verge of becoming the Jade Emperor, and he's number one above the sky as well! Secondly, the cover of the ‘Treasury Lotus Lamp’ was ripped off and burned by you letting her.”

小龙女说：“我记得！几个月前，咱们仨刚来这里时，第一次在这屋里会面。你就是拎着那对儿石锁进来的，可横了！当时，我们俩谁也没注意，就像是看着你拎着两只鸡似的。随后，你一出后门，‘咣当’ 一声扔在后院儿了，把这屋地砸得一颤。你回头就说，‘尧帝告诉我保护你们两个小女孩儿’。你们俩得把全部能识别身份的东西毁掉，或者交给你。然后，你挖个洞，埋起来。我一想，我身上没什么能识别我身份的东西，就只有这本《宝莲灯》。我问你，‘这本书是我爸爸写的，算不算能识别身份的东西？’ 你立刻回答，‘算！把书皮扯掉，别人就注意不到了！’
Little Dragon Girl said: “I remember! A few months ago, when the three of us first came here, we met for the first time in this room. You came in carrying that pair of stone locks, and you were so aggressive! At that time, neither of us paid attention to it, as if we were watching you carry two chickens. Then, as soon as you left the back door, you threw it down in the backyard with a bang, and it shook the floor of the house. You turned around and said, 'Yao White-King told me to protect you two little girls'. The two of you must destroy or give you anything that can identify us. Then you dig a hole and bury it. 娥黄接着对女英说：“然后，你说你哥哥还在外面呢，你去送送他，就走了。我们俩立刻到后院看那俩石锁是什么东西。我们俩谁也提不起来一个石锁；一查看，那石锁里面灌铅了。我们俩认为你是个女大力士！你回来后，就喝酒！我们俩认为我们来错地方了，就逃跑了。没跑多远，你在前面把我们俩拦住了，说，‘这地方有毒蛇，你们俩得等我把毒蛇处理完了，才能出来溜达，那也不能夜里出来！我们俩回到屋里就开始找毒蛇！到现在我也没看见你处理毒蛇！”
Beauty-Yellow then said to Heroine: “Then, you said that your brother was still out there, so you went to see him off and left. We both immediately went to the backyard to see what those two stone locks were. Neither one of us could lift a stone lock; once we checked, the stone locks were filled with lead. We both thought you were a Hercules woman! When you came back, you drank! We both thought we were in the wrong place and ran away. 女英回答：“尧帝告诉我来这里保护两个小女孩儿，没说你们是谁。我送我哥哥离开时，他才告诉我的。他说尧帝已经雇人处理过这里的毒蛇了。他又搜索了三遍。他告诉我，我也要依照他说的方法，再处理一遍，以后要随时注意，以免被自己爬过来的毒蛇，或者鸟儿叼过来的毒蛇咬伤了。”
Heroine replied, “White-King Yao told me to come here to protect the two little girls, without saying who you were. I was told when I sent my brother away. He said that Yao White-King had hired someone to deal with the poisonous snakes here. He searched three more times. He told me that I should also follow what he said and treat it again, and that I should always be careful in the future so that you two wouldn't be bitten by the poisonous snakes that crawled over here on their own, or the ones that the birds carried over here.”

娥黄说：“武汉是新都城，人们一打听皇宫在哪儿？指路的人就说，‘在将军墓旁边！‘ 这不好听！”
小龙女问：“依你看，咱这皇宫还建不建了？”
Beauty-Yellow said: “I think we've been stimulated by the Ancient Tomb today, talking too much! Little Dragon Girl is right, we need to discuss how to report to the Celestial Ceiling Marshal that 'we've built the ‘east sea dragon palace’ next to the Ancient Tomb'.”

女英说：“我看你们向我师傅汇报时，‘小龙女总是笑’ 有问题。若是让尧帝知道了，她可能会想，‘怎么地，你对我成为中华帝国的第一任皇帝有意见呐！？”
After thinking for a while, Beauty-Yellow replied: “I think we must keep building! Stopping the construction just like that was not a nice affair to say. If White-King Yao doesn't want this palace, she can find another place to build one. We sold the palace. We don't know this mountain is a tomb, and many others don't know it's a tomb. We'll sell it after the construction is done. If I can't! 娥黄说：“有道理！咱们得给天蓬元帅找个借口。当他对尧帝说时会这么说，‘我侄女一见到我就哭个不停，当时她说在那里建皇宫时，我同意了！这块地还是我给买的。那我还能说啥！？ 我就对她说，‘继续建！她不要，咱留着自己住，咱家可不缺这几百公斤黄金！”
小龙女叨咕：“好主意！但是，我确实一想这事就笑，这可怎么办？”
女英说：“我能把你打哭了。这种方法，我小时候和哥哥们相互试验过几次。被打了之后，我感觉有点儿疼，还有点儿麻的感觉，过一会儿就没事了，也没什么后果。”
Beauty-Yellow said: “That makes sense! We must find an excuse for Celestial Ceiling Marshal.
