刚才在石板无意中写下一段话，觉得还有点意思。

The difference between Mao and Deng is like this:

Mao basically said:"I know what I'm doing.  You guys don't need to worry about it.  Just follow me.  I will get you there."

Deng however took a totally different approach.  He pretty much said:"I don't know what I'm going.  Therefore I'm open to suggestions.  Whatever works, I will follow.  Together, we will find a way to get there."

Now I believe, Deng's strategy is a superior one, because people are not gods.  No one in his right mind can claim that he knows everything, not even Mao.

What's particularly precious here is that Deng as head of the nation can promote such an open minded statement, in such an unequivocal manner, and carried through with so much perseverance that eventually led to China's unparalleled economic bloom.

This is not something you see in every generation.

毛和邓的区别在于：

毛说，我知道怎么办，您不用管了，就照我的来，保证能行。

邓则完全不同。邓说，我不知道怎么办。您看着办，只要能抓耗子就是好猫，咱大家一起摸索过河。

我个人认为，邓的方法正确，因为人不是神。即便是老毛，也不可以说他的做法必然是对的。

尤其可贵的，是邓作为一国首脑能够提出如此开明的口号，并大力倡导，坚决执行，最终取得中国经济的长期繁荣。

这，不是世出的。
